Bennett, Millard Lewis, “Bud”, 75, Johnstown, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on August 23rd, 2021. Born August 18th, 1946 in Johnstown to the late Millard A. and Emma E. ( Rager) Bennett. Preceded in death by sisters, Donna “Gee” Solich and Mildred “Moodie” Gray; grandson, Luke Anthony. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Catherine “Cathy” V. (Davis) Bennett; sister, Roberta (Lonsinger); loving daughter, Linda M. (Dennis) Moyer; loving grandchildren, Catherine Mary Bennett and Jacob M. and Megan N. Moyer; loving niece, Ronda; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Bud was a 1966 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a former Specialist E5 in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War, and former forklift repairman for Bethlehem Steel Mill for many years. Bud enjoyed spending time with his loving family and pets in his early retirement. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing.
