Obituary

Beatty, Nancy R., 81, of Kane PA, passed away Monday December 10, 2018 at LaurelWood Nursing home in Johnstown, PA. Born May 27, 1937 in Muncy, PA, daughter of the late Dewey B. Ritter and Elma Lowe Little. On November 25, 1970, she married Charles E. Beatty, who survives. Nancy worked for many years as a medical receptionist for several local doctors and later as a medical transcriptionist for both Ridgeway and St. Mary’s hospitals.

Nancy is also survived by her three children, Kim Johnson (Ted), Fairfax Station, VA; Betsy Bogert (Tom), Cogan Station, PA; Sean Fox (Patty), Johnstown, PA; five granddaughters; one great-grandson; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was an avid reader and animal lover. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the McKean County SPCA, Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701. No service will be held. Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., in Johnstown.
