Ramirez, Nicholas, 73, Johnstown, died at his home Friday June 23, 2023, with his family by his side. Born December 22, 1949, in Johnstown, to the late Nick and Mary “Maggie” (Jaime) Ramirez. Survived by daughters, Leslie (Evans) Feinsinger; Neysa Marcellina (Ramirez) Stumpo and husband Jude; son, Nicholas Miguel and wife Alexandra (Molosky); grandchildren, Jessie Wilson, Logan, Presley, Hayden, Celeste (Formisano), Zoe, Poppy, and Miguel; great granddaughter, Aurora; brothers, Richard and wife Teena (Chlebovic); John and wife Sharon (Locher); and niece Angelica (Ramirez) Havener. Nick was a 1968 graduate of Johnstown High School. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, working in his garden, hunting, fishing, and shooting pool. He was a lifelong member of the Woodvale Athletic Club, and a fixture at the Dugout and Rovida’s. Some of Nick’s best years were spent playing and coaching softball. He won championships in the Westmont, City, and Steel City Leagues. He was the third base coach for 12 straight championships with the Dugout. Nick was loved by all his players. He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends.
