Bracken, Patricia A., 72, Johnstown, passed away on Oct 17, 2016 at home. Born Jan. 22, 1944 in Johnstown to the late George and Mae (Hamer) Hess. Preceded in death by her late husband John L. Adams; brothers, George Jr. and Delbert Hess; sisters, Hazel Ressler and Karen (Hess) Sheesley; father-in-law, Wayne Bracken; mother-in-law, Thelma (Dill) Bracken; and brother-in-law, Larry Bracken. Survived by husband of 30 years, Jim Bracken; children David Adams and wife Michelle; Jeffrey Adams and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Michael Frakenfield and Tyler Adams, all of Florida; in addition to numerous nephews, and nieces; brother, Dwight Hess and wife Diane, Vintondale; sisters, Linda Tomkosky and husband Edward, Johnstown; Elizabeth Montalvo, Virginia; brother-in-law, Larry Bracken and wife Barbara, Johnstown; Richard Bracken and wife Sue, Johnstown; brother-in-law, and special person, Tom Sheesley. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Interim Hospice, especially nurse Tabatha. The most important thing to Patti was her children, her husband, and her love for animals. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., where a service will be held Friday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. Pastor Tom Moore, officiating.
