Getz, Patricia D., 90, Hastings, passed away on October 31, 2019, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 15, 1929 in Tyrone. Daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Carrie (Harpster) DeLong. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Francis, Marjorie, and Carolyn. Patricia is survived by her husband, James C. Getz; her children, Deborah Dvorasak (Tony), Beaver Falls, PA; Charles Getz (Donna), Beaver Falls, PA; James W. Getz (Kathy), Revloc, PA;  grandchildren, Gretchen, Scott, Brian (Aubrey), KathyJo, and Carrie; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Madeleine; brother, William DeLong; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Patricia was a member of Hastings United Methodist Church, where she previously served as the recording secretary, she was a past Matron of Susquehanna OES, she enjoyed crochet, cooking, baking, and most importantly spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St. Hastings, PA 16646. A funeral service will be held at Hastings United Methodist Church on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11AM. Pastor Linda Freeburg, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
