Minahan, Patrick Henry, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. At the age of 90 he died November 7, 2016. Born in Sparrows Point, MD, to the late Patrick C. and Anna (Suttmiller) Minahan. Proceeded in death by sister, Anna and brothers, James and William. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Maryann (Blaschak) Minahan; daughters, Lori married to Jerry Martin, Orlando, FL; Marybeth married to Quinn Zahorchak, Cranberry Township, PA; five grandchildren, Bradley, Keith, Patrick, Mary Kate, and Michael; brother, Walter, Tampa FL; sisters, Katherine Minahan, Johnstown; and Rose Marie Oravetz, Tallahassee, FL. Patrick was a graduate of Clarion State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in World War Il. His employment was with Bethlehem Steel prior to entering the teaching profession at Shade Central City and Ferndale Area Schools, from which he retired. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Alma Lodge Oddfellows and Encampment and PASR. Patrick was a longtime member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer, who loved to play and watch the game, and a fisherman. At Patrick’s request, there will be no viewing. Friends will be received at a private memorial service.
