Obituary

Stiles, Philip J., 89, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord November 17, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital. Born July 17, 1934, to the late Dwight and Edna (Howard) Stiles. Preceded in death by wife, Alberta Stiles; and siblings, Lloyd Stiles and wife Helen (Lucas); Pearl Hicks; and Dorothy Ferchalk. Survived by children, Judy (Stiles) Figard and husband Jack; Albert Stiles and wife Kim G. (Beyer); and grandchildren, Jake and Ky Stiles; Cody and Jackie Figard; Philip was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as part of the Screaming Eagles in the Korean War. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 32 years of employment and initiated and owned S&S Auto Salvage with his son, Albert. Family will receive friends Sunday November 19th from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
