Britton, Porter “Port”, 85, Mundy’s Corner, passed away July 25, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Born January 4, 1935 in Rossiter, PA to the late Theodore and Mary (Shaffer) Britton. Preceded in death by brothers, Theodore Jr. and Harold; sisters, Hermenia Hammer, Thelma Butala, Waneda Hancharick; and granddaughter, Jill Cekada. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary (Kovach); daughter, Christine married to Robert Cekada; grandchildren, Josh Cekada, Melissa (Adric) Pease; great grandchildren, Hank and Jack Cekada; and brothers, Robert and Arthur Britten. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Wheel Plant. Port enjoyed dancing and cutting wood, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his grandchildren. He is now dancing with the angels. There will be no services.
