Ribblett, Ralph “Blaine” Jr., 74, Johnstown, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side Nov. 15, 2016. Born April 11, 1942 to the late Ralph and Florence (Layton) Ribblett. Blaine was a member of Albright United Methodist church. He was a graduate of Johnstown High School and went on to get an associate’s degree in architecture. Blaine was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He loved cars and going to car shows with his friends. Blaine worked at Bethlehem Steel and Country Market as a night manager before he retired. Blaine’s favorite quote was, “Best neighbors anywhere”. He wanted to thank them for all their help in his time of need; so thanks to Dick and Mary Cauffiel, Craig and Robin Rummel, Donna Varnish (his good friend), Shirly Zabala, and everyone who sent cards. Blaine’s greatest love was that of family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all, especially his bestest buds in the world, Jody and Don Wilson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
