Horner, Raymond C., 102, Williamsport, MD, formerly of Johnstown, died January 22, 2018 at Homewood Retirement Center at Williamsport, MD. Born October 8, 1915 to the late Samuel E. and Pearl (Allen) Horner. Preceded in death by loving wife of 77 years, Mildred Horner; and brothers, Clyde and Robert Horner. Survived by sons, Richard R. Horner and wife, Christine H., Seattle, WA;  Douglas C. Horner and wife, Priscilla H., Shepherdstown, WV; grandsons: Charles R. Horner and wife, Allie, Tacoma, WA; Michael H. Horner and wife, Jamie, Ellensburg, WA; Jeremy D.H. Horner, Shepherdstown, WV; and granddaughter, Jessica H. Herbert and husband, Martin, Shepherdstown, WV; three great-grandsons: Adam and Sami, Tacoma, WA; Connor, Shepherdstown, WV; two great-granddaughters, Katie and Natty, Ellensburg, WA; brother, Melvin Horner; and sister, Emily Jane Horne. Raymond worked for the Conemaugh and Blacklick Railroad for 42 years as a brakeman, conductor, yardmaster, general yardmaster, and supervisor of transportation.  He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where he attended Sunday school class and the men’s meetings. He was an avid reader, loved baseball, travel and the ocean. Friends will be received Saturday January 27 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. Pastor Matt Williams, officiating.
