Kearns, Raymond C., 86, Somerset, went home to be with the Lord, March 30, 2017 at Meyersdale Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 6, 1930, Pittsburgh, son of the late Charles and Mary (Alexandria) Kearns. Preceded in death by his brother, Richard Kearns. Survived by his children, Joe Kearns and wife, Susan, Harrisonburg, VA; Gladys Phillippi and husband, Terry, Somerset; Richard Kearns and wife, Tracy, Meyersdale; and Jeanine Shaulis and husband, Jim, Somerset; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 7 step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren. Raymond was a member of St. John Gaulbert and worked for the Johnstown School District.  He enjoyed bowling, Coney Island, the donut shop, and Ems Subs. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1p.m., Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Nancy Hoover officiating.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
