Balog, Raymond Paul II, 50, Woodford, VA, entered his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 18, 2016.  Born February 2, 1966, in Johnstown; son of Raymond Sr. and Elisha (Smith) Balog of Johnstown. Survived by loving wife, Marilyn (Hunt); parents; sons Raymond Balog III, married to Rebecca, Richmond, VA; John Balog, and fiancé Kasey Pompeii, Fredericksburg, VA; Nathan Balog, Fredericksburg, VA; sisters, Christine Wenslau, married to Paul, Summit, NJ; Catherine Vasilko, married to James, Johnstown; Candace Rummel, married to Richard, Ligonier; mother-in-law, Fay Hunt, Ebensburg; brother-in-law, Milton Hunt, Hollidaysburg; sister-in-law, Holly Rolt, Ebensburg and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by father-in-law, John Hunt; brother-in-law, Barry Hunt; and sister-in-law, Melanie Hunt.  Raymond was a well-loved teacher for Spotsylvania County Schools for 20+ years and previously a teacher for Caroline County Schools for 6 years.  He was also a member of the Spotswood Baptist Church.  First and foremost, Raymond loved his family and was a committed husband and father.  He also had a passion for bow hunting, smallmouth bass fishing, being outdoors, and wrestling.  His life will be celebrated in both VA and PA.  A memorial service will be held Monday, February 22 at 7 p.m. at Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, Pastor Jim Stone, officiating, with reception to follow. Friends and family will be received Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.  Funeral service will be held Friday, February 26, 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
