Obituary

Barnes, Raymond “Ray” A., 49, Johnstown, passed away on September 27, 2019 at his residence. Born April 22, 1970 to Dennis F. Barnes and Sharon L. (Rayburn) Stiffler. Preceded in death by his father, and his brother Christin “Chris” A. Barnes. Survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Barnes; his mother; his step-father, Gary Stiffler; his girlfriend, Joan Blough; his brother, Dennis J. Barnes; his aunt, Sonya; his uncle, Dewey; his cousin, George Varner; as well as numerous other members of extended family. Raymond was formerly employed at Rox Coal PBS, and as a cook at the Jolly Roger restaurant. He loved his family and friends, especially his daughter, and cared about so many people. Ray enjoyed, hunting, fishing, cooking, playing video games, and listening to his favorite band Slayer. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Funeral will follow at 6 PM immediately after visitation at the funeral home.
