The Rev. John K. Timm

May 25, 1935 – Dec. 16, 2022

The Rev. John K. Timm, 87, who previously served congregations in the Altoona area, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2022. He was born in Warren, Pa., son of the late Karl G. and Margaret (Wuertzer) Timm.

Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Barbara; two daughters: Vicki Boehme and her husband, Dale, his dearest friend; and Deborah Brennan and much-loved friend, John; two granddaughters, Katie Brennan and Dana Crowson and her husband, Trey; great-grandson, Trentin; sister, Barbara Hartmann Luce; nieces, Susan Sveda and Margaret Rosequist; and a nephew, Tim Rosequist, all of Youngsville, Pa.

Ordained in 1960, he served full time until moving to Maryland in 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Camp Sequanota in April 2023.
