Leckey, Richard Alfred, 78, Gulfport, MS, passed away October 10, 2016 at home.  Born May 6, 1938 in Johnstown.  Son of Alfred Leckey and Doris (Evans) Ruddon.  Preceded in death by father; loving wife, Joan (Zarket) Leckey; and grandson, Joseph Slovensky Jr.  Survived by mother; son, Richard Leckey (Debbie), Johnstown; daughter, Judith Fisher (Mike), Gulfport, MS; daughter, Vickie Harrah (Shawn), Franklin, PA; granddaughter, Jocelyn Hernandez (Jimmie); great-granddaughter, Storm Hernandez; sister, Nancy Reid, MA; and brother, Clarence Ruddon, Hermany, PA. Richard was a laborer in the Steel industry.  A service will be held Wednesday, October 19th at 1 p.m. at the chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery with interment to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Association at www.cancer.org.  Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
