Maser, Richard C. “Pappy” 85, Johnstown, passed away July 25, 2016 at his home. Born May 5, 1931 to the late Albert and Mary (Botter) Maser. Preceded in death by brothers, Albert, Herman, James, Donald, Robert; sister, Dorothy; daughter, Debbie; and grandson, Brady. Pappy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise A. (Kelly); children, Richard A. and wife Darlene; Kelly A. Hetrick and husband Robert; Judith L. Miller and husband Loren; Laurie J. Dixon and husband Sam; and grandchildren, Ashlee, Wes, Scott, Shauna, Stephanie, Kelsee, Morgan, Zack, Sydnee, and Jase.  Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Bethlehem Steel, Gautier Division after 33 years of service. He was an avid Steeler and Pirates fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. At Richard’s request, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. July 30 at St. Patrick Church. Father Walter Moll Jr., officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
