Polonkey, Richard Andrew “Dick”, 88, Park Hill, passed away July 23, 2021, at Windber Hospice. Born January 1, 1933, to the late Louis and Helen (Kupyar) Polonkey. Preceded in death by son, Mark Polonkey and brother’s and sister’s in-law, Don Lehman; Yolanda and Walter Buchan; Emma Mesteller; Tony and Rosary Pingatore; and Ralph Pingatore. Survived by wife, Angeline (Pingatore) Polonkey; children, Louis Polonkey (Marcia); Matthew Polonkey (fiancée Angie Kovach); Christine Clark (Kevin); Richard Polonkey; grandchildren, Heather Crowe (Michael); Steven Polonkey (Quenna Kist); Luke Polonkey; Ian, Sarah, and Jill Clark; Zander Polonkey; great grandchildren, Emilia and Everly Crowe; siblings, Dorothy Berchin (Dan); Elizabeth Lehman; Pauline Haser (Ed); brother’s and sister’s in law, Julius Mesteller; Joseph and Rosie Pingatore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dick was an avid hunter, fly fisherman, and Pittsburgh sports fan. He also loved spending time at camp in Potter County. Dick gave his children and grandchildren remarkable and wonderful memories. Family and friends will be received Tuesday July 27 from 1-3 & 5-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Mass to be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Church of the Transfiguration. Procession and burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
