Vaughn, Richard J., 82, Johnstown, passed away Dec. 11, 2015 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born June 8, 1933, Erie, to the late Kenneth and Josephine (Bugaj) Vaughn. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Vaughn; twin brother, Robert Vaughn; and step-mother, Alene Vaughn. Survived by sister, Barbra Wilde (Melvin); long-time companion, Pat Shaffer and her son, Ron Shaffer; sister-in-law, Sheila Vaughn; nephews and nieces, Ken Vaughn (Judy), Robert Vaughn (Lisa), Brenda Comstock (Joe), Michelle Harkins (Pat), Jerry Vaughn (Christina); and many great nephews and great nieces. In 1969, Richard and his wife moved to Johnstown, Pa, where he resided until his passing. Richard was known by many for his many years of bartending while in Johnstown. At the family’s request there will be no visitation or services. Private interment at Grandview Cemetery.
