Himes, Rita J. (known as “Tippy” by family and friends), 94, Johnstown, passed away February 10, 2023 at Amber Springs Assisted Living. Born in Pittsburgh on May 18, 1928 to the late Dominic and Santa (Rucci) Falgione. Rita was the last surviving member of her family. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles and 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by daughters, Sylvia (Butch) Dunbar and Charlene (Danny) Barefoot; grandchildren, Bill Dunbar, Bridget (Ray) Hill, Mark (Natasha) Sutt, and Janelle Barefoot; and great-grandchildren, Renee Hill, Elliott Hill, Rita Sutt, Isabel Sutt, and Mark Sutt. A memorial service will be held at Oakland United Methodist Church on February 18^th at 2 p.m., 1504 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15902. Rev. Ray Hill will be officiating the service.
