Fatula, Robert D. Sr., 69, Johnstown, passed peacefully on February 22, 2020 at Cambria Care Center.  Born September 29, 1950 in Nanty Glo.  Son of the late John and Mary (Lantzy) Fatula. Preceded in death by his parents; his daughters, Melissa Napolitano and Tressa Primel; his siblings, Roberta Fatula, Andrew Fatula, and William Fatula.  Survived by loving wife of 32 years, Betsy A. (Rose) Fatula; his children, Robert D. Fatula Jr., Tracey Walker, Jennifer Queer, Amanda Primel-Holt, and Jesse Fatula (Katie), his grandchildren; Erik Jr., Jake, Braedon, Tressa, Kaylie, Daniel, Asher, and Rhett; his sister, Donna Sarnesky; and numerous other members of extended family. Robert served our country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired police officer with 37 years on the job.  During his career he served as Captain of the Nanty Glo Police Department, and as the Chief of Jackson Township Police.  He was also a Case Officer for the Cambria County Drug Task Force.  Serving his community was his life, he was a devoted family man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday February 26, 2020 from 4-6 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, 1521 Frankstown Road.  A memorial service will follow visitation at 6 PM, Pastor Nancy Hoover officiating.
