Alwine, Robert E. – 80, Johnstown, passed away February 1, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 20, 1938 in Johnstown, son of the late Eugene V. and Dorothy V. (Peyton) Alwine. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Edwin and Ronald. Survived by his brother William D. Alwine (Alice), Johnstown; his nephews Patrick Alwine and Daniel Alwine. Robert served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Robert worked as a mail handler, and also as a custodian. Robert was a great all-around sports fan. At the request of the family there will be no visitation.
