Kelly, Robert E., 71, Johnstown, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and adopted family. He was born May 14, 1947. Son of the late Robert A. and Lois A. (Ringer) Kelly. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald W. Kelly Sr.; his niece Jan West; his great niece, Amanda West; his brother-in law, Bob Wingard; and his companion Carol Harr. Survived by his daughter, Khrystle Sullivan (Patrick), Cedar Rapids, IA; his son, Kevin R. Kelly (Julie Bailey), Highland Village, TX; his grandchildren, Kira and Keenan Sullivan; his sisters, Lois Groman (Robert), Davidsville; Judith “Judy” Wingard, Boswell; his loving companion Barb Moschgat, her children, Stacey Hufman, Lori Shank, and Chris Moschgat and their families; nephews, John Groman (Wendy), Rob Wingard, Ronald W. Kelly Jr.; nieces, Sue Lentz (Tom), Vicki Fuentes, Karen Blevins, Cheryl (Charlie) Ertsman, Lisa (Brian) Deist; and great nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by many special friends including, Don Schreffler, Bob Shank, Scott Alyimus, Timmy Michaels, and Rich. Bob graduated from Conemaugh Township High School in 1967, and entered the U.S. Marine Corp for 4 years. Returning back to Johnstown, he worked for Shaffer Block Plant, and then retired from OMG Metals (Hoganas). He and Barb loved to travel, making trips on his Goldwing. He loved going to the hunting camp “Whippoorwill”. He was a member of Faith U.M. Church. He was a member of 876^th Engineers, and the Menoher Post VFW Post #155. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert can be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 369 Glessner Road, Johnstown, PA 15905.
