Robert Steven Valeria, 74, of Hastings, passed away suddenly at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center September 24, 2022. Born November 10, 1947, in Spangler. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Mary (Pagano); brother, Joe. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy (Jones); children, William “Bill”, Hastings, Heather (Kevin) Hefty, Reading, Holly (Michael) DeLatte, Cary, NC; five grandchildren, Grayson, Sydney, Kennedy, Alexa and Logan. Bob was a live long resident of Hastings and was an active member of Hastings VFW and Fire Club and a member of St Bernard Catholic Church. Bob was a coal miner and worked at Easly Furniture. He also delivered the Tribune Democrat for 21 years. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday September 30, 2022 at St. Bernard Cemetery’s comital shelter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
