Anico, Roland F., 76, Hastings, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at his home. Born April 6, 1942, in Elder Township, PA. Son of the late Tony and Adolphine (Lefebure) Anico. Roland is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lisa Bender; his grandson Jeremy McIntosh. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Leah J. Anico (Price); his children, LeAnn Gregory (Carl), England; Roland A. Anico (Beverly), Hastings; his grandchildren, John Bender, Jake Bender, Morgan Bender, Matthew Bender, Anthony McIntosh (Tally), Faith McIntosh (Tom), Tony Anico, Clarrisa Anico; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Jeremy, and Ember; his sister, Joyce Anico, Hastings; his son-in-law, Rick Bender; and his loving dog Champ. Roland was a coal miner at Greenwich Colliers for 20 years, he also worked at Westover Leather, and Ray Westrick’s potato farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Friends and family will be received on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St. Hastings, PA. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Laura McCombie, Officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Hastings.
