Hornick, Ronald C., 84, Johnstown, passed away October 2, 2014 at LaurelWood Care Center.  Born January 3, 1930 in Johnstown; son of the late Frank and Mary (Disch) Hornick. Preceded in death by son Barry, his brother Robert, his sisters Mary Frances Stevons, Louise Hoffman, and Betty Hornick. Ronald is survived by his loving wife Janet R. (Jobe) Hornick, his children, Lynda Rizzo and husband Tony, Johnstown; son Brian Hornick and wife Pam, Johnstown; and daughter Alyson Schultz and her husband Tim, Johnstown.  Ronald is also survived by his 12 beloved grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Ronald was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic War Vets and The American Legion.  He was the owner of Hornick Auto Sales.  Ronald had his pilot’s license and he loved to fly, and he also enjoyed doing excavating work and gardening.Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Church.  Committal St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Military rights by VFW Menoher Post 155.  Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc.,“Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.”  Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
