Obituary

Wallace, Ronald L., 77, Johnstown, passed away May 23, 2022 at Windber Hospital. Born March 25, 1945. Son of the late William and Dora (Beynon) Wallace. Survived by wife of 56 years, Janet L. (Shaffer) Wallace; daughter, Susan Wallace (Dennis Albert); son, Ronald Wallace; brother, Robert Wallace (Sandi); and granddaughter, Ashley Wallace, all of Johnstown. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially loved taking his granddaughter camping and fishing with him. Ron also enjoyed gardening, racing, and attending the East Hills Senior Center. The family would like to thank the Crossroads Unit at Arbutus, Windber Hospital, and Dr. Tamara Hoffman for their care. Family and friends will be received Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902, where a service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., Pastor Rob Wolfe officiating. Masks will be optional for those who attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Unit at Arbutus Park or to the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren Renovation Fund.
