Kline, Ronald Raymond,78, of Venango PA, formerly of Patton PA, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at home with his family and his sister Bernice.  He was born on September 17, 1939 in Patton, the son of Gerald and Edna (Yeckley) Kline. Ron is survived by his children Lisa M. (Scott) Shaner, Lynette E. (Johnnie) Johnson and Ronald R. (Jill Serafin); grandchildren Luke and Jacob Shaner, Nicholle and Michael Johnson, and Christian and Elizabeth Kline; and his special friend Dolly Commons and her family. Ron was the brother of Dr. Bernice Kline, his identical twin Donald (Mary Ann), Thomas, James (Barbara), Judy Ann (Jack) Colberg, Bertha (Don) Sell, Tony (Linda), Tim (Lois), Veronica, Claudia (Dave) Charney, Fred (Sue), brother-in-law Dean Gibson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years Teresa, sisters Patricia Gibson and Greta, sister-in-law Regina (Thomas) and brother-in-law Eugene (Veronica). Ron was a 1958 graduate of John Carroll High School.  He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation, Barnes and Tucker Coal Mine, Bethlehem Steel, Prince Gallitzin State Park, and enjoyed farming for many years.  He was a member of the 3rd order of the Knights of Columbus and a past member and former president of the St. Benedict’s Church Parish Council.  He enjoyed farming, raising animals, hunting, fishing, family reunions, attending farm sales with his brothers, and visiting with his children and grandchildren.  He lived for the past 1.5 years with his son and family who lovingly welcomed him into their home, which they fondly referred to as the Kline Retirement Home. Friends will be received from 3 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday September 19 at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home in Hastings, and starting at 9 am in the St. Benedict Church Boniface Wimmer Room until the time of Mass at 10 am on Thursday September 20 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Carrolltown.  Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Jude Brady OSB, a close friend and spiritual counselor.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.  Benedict’s School.
