Pollagi, Rose M. “Dolly”, 87, Johnstown, died July 19, 2015 at her home. Born April 2, 1928 to the late John and Gertrude (Croyle) Luker. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph; brothers, Bill and John; sisters, Betty Martnson; Ethel Manion; sister-in-law, Clara Bell Luker; nephew Billy Luker; and niece, Colleen Frankenburg. Survived by sons, Mark Joseph and wife, Donna (Cornman), Johnstown; Timothy Paul, OH; grandsons, Cory Joseph and Tyler Daniel Pollagi, both of Johnstown; nephew, James Manion, WV; special friend, Kala Kot; and grand dog, Bodie. Dolly was a veteran of the United States Airforce and served with the 445th Fighter Bomber Wing USAF. She was the president of the Belmont Vol. Fire Co., Ladies Auxillary and a graduate of Richland High School class of 1946. At Dolly’s request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thurs. July 23 at the Windber Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Committal and military honors at Kaufman cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolly’s name to the Cambria County S.P.C.A.
