Campanella, Rosemary T., 90, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Saturday December 29, 2018 at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Johnstown on December 3, 1928.  Daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Totas) Smolen. Preceded in death by her parents; her former husband Martin M. Campanella Sr.; a great granddaughter; her siblings, Katie Karan, Ann Lorens, Helen Bistransky, John Smolen, Joeseph Smolen, Andrew Smolen, Steven Smolen, and Andrew Smolen. She is survived by her children, Martin M. Campanella Jr. (Deb), Johnstown; Philip Campanella, Johnstown; Christine Campanella, Westminster, MD; Valerie Thompson, Johnstown; Mary Jo “Bunny” Sanders (Mark), Johnstown; Joseph Campanella (Rita), Arizona; her grandchildren, Tracie, Roger, Philip, Terri, Shawn, Tony, Ann, Danielle, Karin, and Stephanie; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister Margaret Faranda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of her extended family. Rosemary was formerly employed at Penn Traffic, and at Hess’s, she was also a long time receptionist at the Johnstown Senior Center. Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking, and enjoyed playing bingo. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A memorial mass will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church on Saturday January 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Fr. David Pelles, Officiating. Interment will be in the Mausoleum at Richland Cemetery.
