Brush, Roy K. “Spike”, 82, Johnstown, passed away December 28, 2021, at his home. Born September 29, 1939, to the late Samuel and Wilna (Fockler) Brush. Preceded in death by siblings, Ralph (Win); Don (Jane); Carl (Cathy); Sam; Robert (Betty); Vera Shank (Don); Nancy Brush; and brother-in-law, Ralph Augustine. Survived by loving wife, Letitia (Snyder); children, Victoria “Vera” Leinon (Brian); Tish Ann Brush-Boyd (Robert); Eric (Teresa); Kenneth; and Mark; grandchildren, Amber, Haley, Doug, and Eric Jr.; sister, Wilna Augustine; favorite sisters-in-law, Charolette Allen; Doris Rose; sister-in-law, Pauline Brush; and cousin, Janet Blose. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an electrician for Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown and for E.C. Ernest Inc. in Washington D.C. Roy was also a clerk for Blalock Electric and Lowes. Roy loved math books and enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren how to play chess and board games. He was a loving easy-going guy. Family will receive friends Monday January 3rd from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Burial to follow at Richland Cemetery.
