McGinnis, Russell L., 70, Johnstown, died October 19, 2018 at his home. Born July 2, 1948 to the late Harry E. and Martha (Jones) McGinnis. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Christine McGinnis, his siblings, Harry McGinnis, Patty Braun, and “Pug” McGinnis. Survived by his first wife, Sue; his longtime partner, Barbara L. Espenshade; his children, Jennifer and Steven; his stepchildren, Mark Reese and Everett; his grandchildren; his “adopted” grandchildren, Sammy and Karen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Russell served our country during Vietnam in the United States Army. Upon returning home from the Army Russell took a job as a mechanic with a Chevrolet Dealership in Georgia. He was also a longtime cook and dishwasher at Wendy’s and Chi Chi’s. At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Interment will be private at Armagh Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Conemaugh hospice for all of their care, especially Sue & Stephanie.
