Survived by brother Raymond Rusnak; eight children, Stephen (Christa) Dranchak, Beavercreek, Ohio; Mary (Perry) Burkey, Hastings; Barbara (Leroy) Cloud, Northern Cambria; Eva (Darrin) Neuer, Burbank, CA; Nancy Waltman, Hastings; Katherine (Matt) Trout, Lancaster, PA; John E. Dranchak Sr. for almost 57 years. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her family was her greatest love. She dedicated her life to raising her eight children and was active in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives as well.  She especially enjoyed singing to her children when they were small. She had a lifelong love of gardening, reading, cooking and baking which she passed on to her children. In her later years mobility became difficult and she greatly missed cooking. She was also a longtime fan of Penn State and Steeler’s football. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings.
