Carpenter, Sam J., 92, Richland Woods, went home to be with the Lord, March 17, 2017 at Richland Woods. Born July 11, 1924, Johnstown, son of the late Samuel and Anna Marie (Correll) Carpenter. Preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Litterio; and brothers, Peter and Paul Carpenter. Survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Glass); children, Paul Carpenter, Harleysville; Sam Carpenter, II, Johnstown; Debra Foust, OH; Patrick Carpenter, CT; Keith Carpenter, Johnstown; sister, Anna Culin, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sam was a veteran of the U.S Navy and owned and operated Carpenter Brother’s Store with his brother, Pete. A mass will be celebrated March 20, 10 a.m., St. Benedict Church, Rev. David S.
