Piazza, Samuel J. Jr., 75, Johnstown, died Aug. 31, 2017 at Westmont Woods. Born March 4, 1942 to the late Samuel J. and Anne (Steck) Piazza Sr. Preceded in death by sister, Leslie Lawhead and husband, Jack. Survived by partner, Sally Kuzmyak; step-children, Christopher Kuzmyak, (Shannon); Zachary Kuzmyak, (Angela); granddaughter, Sophia Kuzmyak; sister, Denise Paretti, (Richard), SC; sister-in-law, Lisa Stohl, FL; nieces, Beth, Kristen, and Jennifer Lawhead; beloved dog, Oliver; and children, Shannon Carpenter and Shaun Piazza both of GA. Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Westmont Woods for all the love and care they gave Sam. At Sam’s request, there will not be any services. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
