Obituary

Stormer, Sharon E., 71, Johnstown, stayed strong, but lost her battle with lung cancer September 11, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 30, 1945 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel (Baiker) Uhl. Preceded in death by brother, MSGT Raymond Uhl. Survived by loving husband, Clarence “Fred” Stormer; daughter, Milissa, married to Scott Stormer, N.C.; sister, Cheryl LaVecchio, FL; and granddaughter, Alayna Stormer, N.C, who was a blessing to her “Maw”. Sharon loved Alayna and was there for her from day one. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Johnstown. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows, going to casino’s, and cross stitching. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Michael VanDyke officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Cemetery.
