Williams, Shirley Ann-79, Johnstown- passed away the evening of Oct. 8^th, 2015 in her sleep at St. Judes Haven, after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her brother Boyd Williams of Houston, Texas and survived by brother Don Williams of Danville, California.   Shirley was born at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA, Feb. 29, 1936, to parents Georgia Schrader and Malcom Williams. A lifelong resident of Johnstown, she attended Oakland Elementary School, Cochran Junior High School and Johnstown High School, where she graduated in 1954. She was employed in office supplies at Cambria Business Machines and Keystone Office Furniture & Supplies.  Shirley followed her mother, Georgia Schrader into long term volunteer service at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Georgia accumulated over 20,000 hours of service and Shirley followed with over 19,000 hours.  Both dearly loved the hospital and working with both staff and patients.  Shirley was awarded the President’s Call to Service Award signed by President Obama in 2012.   She will be missed by all who had the opportunity of working and interacting with her. At the request of the family there will be no visitation and interment will be private.
