Benza, Shirley R.,87, Johnstown, passed away July 1, 2022, at Laurelwood Care Center. Born April 9, 1935, to the late Edwin Hunt Sr. and Ruth (Swallow) Hunt. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Andrew Benza; brothers, Eugene Hunt, Edwin Hunt Jr., Telford Hunt; sister Peggy Ickes. Survived by nieces and nephews, Trina Lester, Julie Gilman, Sam Hunt, Kemery Hunt Jr.; great nieces and nephews, Aleida Golojch, Marti Austin and Kemery Hunt Jr.; great-great nieces and nephews. Shirley was known for her famous pizza squares, and she loved to bake and cook for her family. She is going to be sadly missed by her family and friends. There will not be any services at her request.
