Krawczyk, Stanley, 90, Johnstown, passed away September 29, 2016 at home. Born August 29, 1926 in Franklin Boro. Son of the late John and Mary (Mierzwa) Krawczyk. Preceded in death by loving wife, Helen (Paruch); sisters, Stella Sewalk, Nora Greblowski, Anna Araujo, and Mary Gurka; and brothers, Joseph and John Krawczyk. Survived by children, Allen Krawczyk (devoted caregiver), Monica Kovacic (William), and Stanley Krawczyk (Marlene), all of Bon Air; grandchildren, Andrew Krawczyk (Jaclyn), Johnstown, Matthew Krawczyk, Johnstown, Mandy Krawczyk, Johnstown, Monica (Kovacic) Treverton (Robert), Charlotte, NC, Kelly (Kovacic) Coley (Stephen), Ocean City, MD, Theresa Krawczyk, Johnstown, Melissa (Krawczyk) Kane (Dave), Johnstown, Jessica (Krawczyk) Brewer (Steven), Johnstown, and; great grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, and Abby Kane, Mason, Brayden, and Logan Brewer, Giana Cauble, Chance and Cassius Coley, Michael and Alex Krawczyk, and Kaleb Krawczyk. Stanley was a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving in WWll and was retired from Bethlehem Mine Corp. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing. He built several houses, including his own, where he enjoyed raising chickens, and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration, 219 Oak St., Conemaugh, PA 15909 .
