Misosky – Susan M., 80, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Born August 27, 1939, in Johnstown; daughter of the late Glendis and Rose (Serluco) Myers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Misosky; son, Jon Kassander; and stepson-in-law, Steven Bloxsom, Sr. Susan is survived by her children, Michele Pratt and husband Robert, Todd Kassander, and Tony Kassander, all of Johnstown, and Lisa Janoski and husband James, of Bend, Oregon; stepchildren, Brenda Bloxsom of Windber, and Jill Barnett and husband Bobby, of Phoenix City, AL; and grandchildren, Danielle Kassander, Cortney Tice, Kierra Pratt, Tori and Nathan Bloxsom, and Ryan and Alli Bowers; and brother, Joe Myers and wife Susan of New Paris, PA. Sue graduated from Westmont-Upper Yoder High School in 1957. She worked for many years as a self-employed title abstractor in Cambria and surrounding counties. Sue loved playing the piano, crocheting blankets and sweaters for her family, and was a crossword puzzle whiz. She adored animals and they were drawn to her. She was an avid sunbather; you could expect to see her out anytime the temperature went above 60 degrees. She was a member of the Moxham PNA, for whom she was an active bowler for many years. She enjoyed going on outings and engaging in spirited game nights with her family. Special thanks to the staff and management at Forest Hills Personal Care Home for their loving care of Susan as she resided with them for the last few years, and to Three Rivers Hospice for their compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
