Obituary

Schlosser, Thelma R. – 96, Johnstown, went to be with Lord on Friday November 3, 2017, at the Atrium. Born December 12, 1920, in Conemaugh, PA; she was a daughter of the late John D. and Florence L. (James) Schlosser. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Floyd Schlosser; her sister, Margaret Schlosser; her niece Shirley Speicher. Thelma is survived by her nephew Kevin Speicher, Crimora, VA; and some extended family. Thelma graduated from Johnstown High School in the class of 1938, she was retired from Universal Electric & Manufacturing Company, where she worked as a coil taper. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being involved in many facets of the church, and had a strong faith in God. She was an avid quilter. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday November 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave.  Johnstown, PA 15906. Pastor Stephanie Betsa, Officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
