Hill, Theresa E. (Simmers), 87, Rockwood, died June 6, 2017 at Somerset Hospital. Born September 1, 1929 in Gallitzin; daughter of the late John F. and Mildred (Conrad) Simmers. Preceded in death by husband, Jay Kenneth Hill Jr. and son, Anthony Carpenter. Survived by children, Robert Bender, Theodore Carpenter, Charles Bender, William Yehnert, Norma Rohrer, Ruth Giordani, Rebecca Heller, Jay Hill III, and Edward Hill; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jane Knee, Mary Louise Reed, Rose Wheeler, Joseph Simmers, and Sally Litzinger.  Theresa was a CNA for over 20 years. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pastor Don Judy, officiating.
