Ellis, Thomas C. Sr., 76, Nanty Glo, died February 11, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 22, 1943 in Bethel, PA. Son of the late James T. and Margaret J. (Mahan) Ellis. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Jeffrey Ellis; infant grandson, Jeffrey Frederick; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Margaret E. (Hartman) Ellis; son, Virgil (Charlotte), MI; son, Thomas Jr. (Lorri), Nanty Glo; son, Doug (Michele), Nanty Glo; daughter, Paula Parson (Erwin), Shade Gap; daughter, Heidi Frederick (Jeff), Strongstown; brother, Donald (Donna), Nanty Glo; sister, Gloria Frederick (Edward), Strongstown; sister, Valerie Ellis, New Hampshire; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thomas worked as a truck driver for Allied Van Lines. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and scratching lottery tickets, waiting for the big win. He also enjoyed his motorcycle.
