Obituary

Laslo, Thomas G.,72, Johnstown, passed away on August 23, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Born August 4, 1947 to the late Charles and Margaret (Heller) Laslo. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda F. (Nacosky) Laslo; his siblings, Margaret Grela, Frank Laslo, Charlie Laslo, and Joseph Laslo. Survived by his children, Tammy Rolley, Johnstown; John Wetzel (Brenda), Johnstown; Lisa Kane (Steve), Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Thomasine (Byron), Tiffany (Chuck), Samantha, Johnalynn (Sean), Sarah (Chris), Johnny, and Jasmine; great- grandchildren, Avery “AJ”, Chase, Charlie, and Annalee; his siblings, Shirley Smith, Janet Blough, Linda Wallace, and Elmer Laslo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Thomas proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was retired from Miller Picking, where he worked as a metal fabricator. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, spending time with his family, watching the news, and the Pittsburgh Pirates, he was a regular at Leo’s Pizzeria, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church since childhood.  Friends and family will be received on Tuesday August 27, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 10 AM at the funeral home, Pastor Nancy Hoover, Officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by Menoher Post #155. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Thomas’s memory to Grace Lutheran Church, 246 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, PA 15906.
