Obituary

Yarnell, Thomas J., of Lovely, PA, passed away September 10, 2020 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 9, 1933 at home in Lincoln Township, Bedford County, son of the late Bert and Irene Yarnell. Preceded in death by wives, Imogene and Joan; and brothers, George, Bert (June), Frank, Charles, and Paul. Survived by son, Thomas B. Yarnell. Tom proudly served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He returned home and worked at Johnstown Bethlehem Steel until his retirement. He also maintained a working farm. After retiring, Tom started a second career as a big rig truck driver, a job he truly loved. Uncle Tom had a great sense of humor. He could dish it out and also take it. Tom will be missed. At Tom’s request there will be no services.
