Knipple, Tommy Lee, 78, Johnstown, passed away peacefully July 16, 2021, at Windber Hospice. Born November 20, 1942, to the late Paul and Vivian (Vanhorn) Knipple. Preceded in death by wife, Donna Lee (Eastlake); sisters, Vivan Jane McFeathers; Nancy Neilson; and brothers, Ronald and Wayne Knipple. Survived by long time fiancée, Carol Devine; son, Tommy Lee Keiple (Janet L. Albert); daughter, Kelly Majer (Bill); siblings, Roger and Jay Knipple; Peggy Tononi; grandchildren, Cameron Lehman; Megan Stasko (Billy); Joshua Keiple; and Carol’s family, Erick, Darcy, Jon, and their families. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and 1960 graduate of Ferndale. He loved the casino, especially playing the slot machines. He also enjoyed playing cards, watching Pawn Stars, and the news. Above all, Tom loved his family. Family and friends will be received Tuesday July 20 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., with a Panikhida service starting at 6 p.m. Mass to be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Cathedral. Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert A. Buczak, officiating. Committal and military honors to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
