Obituary

Tricia Danielle Latini, 41, of Johnstown, passed away on May 27, 2022, after a two-year battle with cancer. During her final weeks, Tricia was able to spend precious time with her family, who loved her very much. Tricia was a 1999 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. Among her most treasured things in life were her family, including her five-year-old son, Alex, and teaching him about her many family traditions. Tricia enjoyed the simple things in life like drawing, music, writing, baking, and gardening. She is survived by her mother, Cathy Latini; her father, Dennis Latini; siblings, Kristen (Latini) Grove, Melissa Latini, and Matthew Latini; son, Alex; and her partner and Alex’s father, Mike Vavrek, also of Johnstown, and his son, Mikey, who regarded Tricia as his mom. A private family memorial is being planned in Tricia’s honor.
