Obituary

Jansure, Virginia C. 84, of Hastings, went to be with Lord on Thursday September 15, 2016, at home. Born November 15, 1931, in Hastings, PA; she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Mohler) Grimes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond W. Jansure, who died on September 13, 2008 her siblings Vera (Grimes) Masko, Michael Grimes, and Edward “Tub” Grimes, Virginia is survived by her children, Pamela (Jeffrey) Foe, WA; Raymond W. (Scarlett Christian), TX; Robert P. (Deborah Morchesky), Carrolltown; her grandchildren Jenny (Jansure) Sergeant; NY, Brianna Lindberg, NC; Emma Jansure, TX; great grandchildren, Chloe, Estelle, and Audrey Sergeant, NY; her former daughter-in-law Ingrid Lindberg, of MD; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia will be remembered as a dedicated mother, loving wife, and grandmother. She lived for children, and loved them very much. She enjoyed traveling, and also her time spent working at the Spangler Senior Activities Center. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation, and services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
