Golby, Walter T., 84, Johnstown, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. Born Jan. 5, 1931, in Johnstown, son of the late Fred Sr. and Jenny (Penrod) Golby. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Patricia; and brothers, Fred Jr. and James Golby. Survived by his daughter, Shiloh C. Lamb, Homer City; grandsons, Jon P. Lamb, and wife, Cheryl; and Jeremy P. Lamb, all of Johnstown; great-grandchildren, Tyler Lamb, Brooke Ferpas, Jaclynn Levandoski, Jessica Ortiz and Jennifer Lowery; five great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Banko, Seward; and Shirley MacFarlane, Massachusetts. Walter was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Dilltown Sportsmen’s Club, and lifetime member of NRA. There will be no viewing. Service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
