Wayne was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and a previous employee of Sears, as well as, most recently, The Americans Red Cross, where he worked as a blood donation recruiter. Wayne was a member of the Tremont Club. His two greatest loves in life was music, particularly writing and playing music on his guitar, and his 4 grandchildren. “Pappy” was always creating silly songs and jokes for the kids and he knew how to put a smile on their faces and brighten their day. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received Wednesday February 28th from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Father Bernard Karmanocky, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any First National Bank branch to the Wayne LaBuda Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans & Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
