Benshoff, William, 67, Johnstown, died Jan. 19, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 5, 1947 to the late William and Helen (Ellsworth) Benshoff. Survived by sister, Edna Yurasek and husband James; children, Adam and Joseph Benshoff, Michelle Shaffer and husband JR; grandchildren, Dominic, Sheila, Katelynn, Chyanne, and Jeremiah. Throughout Bill’s life he worked at Block’s Dept. store, US Steel, and as a truck driver. Bill recently survived a devastating fire in which he lost everything and which started a chain of events that lead to this sad end. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all who cared for Bill during his time at Memorial Medical Center, Good Sam 6, Rose 6 ICU, and Faye. Also to Noland, the dialysis guy. Bill felt he had found a true friend in you. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in William’s name to help defer final expenses.
